DAQ systems for particle physics experiments
Original language description
Understanding the nature of matter gives humanity hope for survival in outer space even when the earth will no longer exist. The particle physics experiments focus on nature of particles that constitute matter. In ongoing experiments of particle physics a large amount of data is collected from various detectors and analyzed subsequently. We proposed single channel DAQ system which is intended to be used during the laboratory experiments of nuclear instrumentation classes. The modular laboratory system is divided into four main parts in a form of individual PCBs. The modularity was chosen for a better understanding of the system operation and possible extension. Practical tests were carried out in order to evaluate the achieved parameters and functions.
