Optimization-based technique for long-time control of indirect induction heating
Original language description
An alternative way of controling indirect induction heating process is presented, based on its numerical model and optimization techniques. Unlike the standard feedback form of control it is much more flexible with respect to the non-uniformity of heating and able to take into account the temperature at more points both in the surface and volume. This method of controlling the process of heating and keeping the temperatures in the required range for the predefined time also provides an automatic possibility of designing the scheme for switching the source that allows reaching the homogeneity of the temperature and lowest energy consumption.
