Optimal Control of an Induction Heating Process: A Numerical Analysis Approach
Original language description
Temperature control is crucial to modern induction heating technology (IHT). This study focuses on the heat flow control mechanism in induction heating with the goal of utilizing high frequency for efficient energy use. As a general approach to controlling heat distribution, two methods were chosen. The first is the power pulse technique, and the second is parameter calibration. The outcomes of both methods were promising. We controlled events explicitly and implicitly in the power pulse, aligning the power of the induction machine with the excitation current. The model was calibrated for optimal parameters for efficient heat energy usage.
