    Thermal and Ventilation Analysis of PMSG with a Radial External Fan

  • Original language description

    This article focuses on the thermal model of a synchronous generator with permanent magnets and external ventilation. The model was made in the commercial software Ansys Fluent. The model is validated by measuring a real machine. For this purpose, three heating tests with different cooling parameters were measured of which is only one presented. Due to the sufficient temperature reserve, the machine&apos;s nominal flow, half flow, and self-ventilation were chosen. The aim of the work was to tune the model to a numerical model and a real machine.
