Original language description
Dielectric and thermal properties of natural ester oil can be enhanced using specific nanoparticles. Nitride nanoparticles have been selected due to their promising thermal properties. Aluminium nitride, Hexagonal boron nitride, and Silicon nitride nanoparticles were incorporated into rapeseed oil at a weight fraction of 0.25%. The preparation of the nanofluid itself is described and selected nanoparticles were characterized using Simultaneous thermal analysis and Fast Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The breakdown voltage, dissipation factor, relative permittivity, and internal resistivity were measured. Dissipation factor and relative permittivity have been measured as a function of temperature (30°C to 90°C) at 50 Hz and 500 V. Subsequently, the aforementioned parameters were evaluated, and the overall experimental procedure was assessed.
