The research report presents advances in the development of a voice-coil actuator for a vibratory feeder. Improvements over the previous prototype, simulated and measured parameters, and new design features are summarized. The control unit with modular current sources and two prototypes of the vibratory feeder, both with pneumatic and voice-coil actuators, are described.
