Fast starting method for wound-rotor asynchronous motor
Original language description
The starting characteristic of the asynchronous machine represents the speed as dependent on time, when mains supply is connected to the terminal of the motor. In case of a the wound rotor we can change design of torque characteristic by value of externaIn the best case we can starting set with maximal torque instead of some lower value. Then the starting is quickest. In this paper we describe the method for a more faster starting. The necessary condition is a wound rotor asynchronous machine. This is achieved by shunting the stator and rotor windings across the supply for a short period. The sequence of phases for rotor supply is opposite than the sequence for stator supply
