Operations in "Damage Control" System - common in extreme conditions
Original language description
Patient is primarily loaded by trauma load after Indry, next by three determinants. The first determinant is seriousness of injury - first hit. This on is uninfluenced by surgeon. The second one is patients individual response to the first hit - influenced by correct advance in primary care in place of incident, in quickness of transportation and right care during it and in prae-hospital management. In hospital next by life saving procedures. Damage Control tries to minimalize third determinant - loading of patient, caused by surgical care - surgical load. It means the additional loading for patient and gets on seriousness of the injury itself - second hit. Damage Control surgery management is able to minimalize the second hit exactly and thus to give a chance for solution of patients individual biological response. It means reduction of surgical load of polytraumatized patient and adaption of surgical load to his biological reserves.
