The content of this article is an overview of possibilities how to achieve recognition and enforcement of judgements in member states of the EU. The article is devoted mainly to the analysis of two union tools which regulate issues of recognition and enforcement of judgements in member states of the EU in the sphere of family law. The article concentrates on process conditions, terms of proposals for recognition or enforce- ment as well as terms of judgements of member states courts on recognition or enforcement of a judgement which was issued in another member state.
