Overview of copyright legal cases against artificial intelligence companies – can we expect any changes in valid law?
Original language description
A number of copyright court legal cases against generative artificial intelligence („AI“) companies are currently pending, especially in the United States. The major claims include an illegal use of author’s work for AI models training, rights of authors to outputs generated by AI and a liability of copyrights infringement in a commercial use of AI. The paper provides an overview of the cases as well as a position on protection of copyrights.
