The main tool of every cultural anthropologist in the field is not the diary or methodology textbook any longer. Whatever were the changes in thinking about anthropological research (mostly happening in the late 1980s), still we can find places and issues which are "different" or?in some way?"exotic". Somewhere or sometimes we simply aren't ready to deal with situations which are out-of-ordinary in our socio-cultural context. In an example from eastern Bulgaria it will be shown that the strongest weaponof an anthropologist in the field today is social feeling.
