The Conservative Party and Its Perception of the Phenomenon of Collective Security in the 1920's
Original language description
The study deals with the Conservative Party and its perception of the complicated issue of collective security in the 1920's. The Party as such had a reserved, if not disapproving, attitude to new concepts regarding collective security and the League ofNations. Gradually, however, three opinion groups crystallized within the Party, each of them having its supporters, stemming from diametrically different perspectives on Europe and taking a different lesson from the results of World War I.
