    The paper focuses on the recycling strategies practised by contemporary inhabitants of three socio-economically different environments in the Czech Republic. The aim is to show the ways daily routines influence handling the unwanted stuff. In order to record the everyday practices, two research techniques are used, namely garbology and ethnography.
