This study deals with the ecological evaluation of the urban und suburban landscape structure of the City of Pilsen agglomeration. Natural conditions, primary structure of the landscape with a domninating hydrographic knob, determine specific structuresof the landscape in the Plzeň area. Urban und suburban landscapes have thein own ecohydrological features. The Plzeň city can be defined as an artificial ecosystem with specific flows of substances and energies. This study presents the water quality andair quality of the Plzeň area in detail.

Studie se zabývá ekologickým hodnocením struktury městské a příměstské krajiny Plzeňské aglomerace. Přírodní podmínky určují primární strukturu krajiny s dominantním hydrografickým uzlem, který ovlivňuje specifickou strukturu celé městské krajiny. Městská a příměstská krajina mají vlastní ekohydrologické znaky. Město Plzeň může být definováno jako umělý ekosystém se specifickými toky látek a energií. Studie podrobně prezentuje kvalitu vody a ovzduší na území města Plzně.
