Original language description
Faunal and environmental changes near the Katian/Hirnantian boundary are reviewed. After disappearance of the Foliomena Fauna, the glacioeustatic sea level drop brought the shallower fauna basinwards. The bryozoan-brachiopod-pelmatozoan fauna appeared inthe highly fossiliferous calcareous claystone (?perník? bed). The ?Pernik? bed yields transported bioclasts and many subautochthonnous deep-water elements, namely small strophomenoids and some trilobites. This fauna was followed upward (at the summit ofthe Králův Dvůr) by the Hirnantia Fauna Formation due by drastic cooling at the beginning of the Hirnantian.
