In the last century there has been a significant change in corporate leadership. Various factors (globalization, opening new markets - very often in developing countries, growing environmental stress, using of non-renewable resources, social issues connected with This paper is aimed at corporate leadership and its connection with sustainability reporting in the Czech enterprises. Thanks to author survey, which was conducted in the spring 2012, it evaluates non-financial reporting of the Czech enterprises, its scope and extent. It discusses its quality, role and meaning in corporate leadership, which depends among other things on who is this reporting preparing for whom and which should be it purpose. It presents survey results from the area of sustainable reporting in the Czech enterprises and illustrates the relationship between business performance and non-financial reporting.
