Original language description
Project portfolio management is a young managerial concept that has been expanding very rapidly lately. The main objective of this paper is to analyze current project management practice within small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic and possibilities of project portfolio implementation in such companies. The analysis is based on quantitative survey held in Czech Republic. Data shows that Czech companies should focus on single project management improvement instead of immediate adoption of project portfolio management.
