On the Possibility of Solving the Problem of Automatic Generation of Images in Quiz Questions

  • Original language description

The on-line quizzes with automatic evaluation are priceless assistant in the process of the student's On the Possibility of Solving the Problem of Automatic Generation of Images in Quiz Questionsknowledge examination. The images as part of question text or answers in options of multi-choice questions are very useful descriptive tool of examined problems. The preparation of such figures that corresponds with question text is time consuming process. The automatic generation of such questions including randomly generated figures could be the solution of this problem. In the paper we present some ideas for automatic generation of quiz questions that include the automatically-generated variants of images. The generated image can be a part of the question assignment and/or the generated images can represent the correct and incorrect answers in form of various modifications. We identified several partial sub-problems to be solved when generating such questions containing randomly generated images, and we suggested some possible ways of solving these problems by entering constrains limiting certain parameters of the image. In the final part of the article we presented two particular examples of generating the questions containing images. The first example shows the generated image as a part of the basic text of the question. Both correct and incorrect variants of answers to the question represented by different modifications of an image are shown in the second example.
