Modelling of machine drive vibration by the decomposition method
Original language description
The contribution is devoted to modelling vibration of the machine drives with gears. Modelling is based on the system decomposition into subsystems joined by discrete internal couplings - gear meshings and claw couplings. The shafts, mounted on the rolling element bearings, are modelled as 1D continuums. Each bearing is modelled by two radial and one axial springs and parallel viscous dampers. The rigid discs (gears) are fixed fast to shaft or are joined with shafts by means of torsional stiffness of splined connections. The method is illustrated by the modelling of the mill drive.
