Comparison of word-based and class - based language models for speech recognition of the czech weather forecast
Original language description
This paper presents a comparison of word-based and class-based language models used in the system for speech recognition of weather forecast broadcasted by the Czech radio. Two different methods were used for clustering words into classes. First one is based on maximizing the average mutual information, second one uses somewhat extended part-of-speech tags.
