Original language description
The paper deals with the improved design of a prototype of the diametral strain gauge, as well as with the comparison of experimental and numerical test results. In the first part, the improved construction of the diametral strain gauge is presented together with the results of the measurements conducted with this gauge on notched specimens. Material parameters of the model are then extracted from these experimental results by comparing them with numerical simulation. These coefficients were used for numerical simulation of three-point bend test as a representative of a geometrically different configuration and the results were verified experimentally. A summary of this verification can be found in the second part of this paper.
