Numerical computation of 3D inviscid transonic flow using MacCormack scheme with different artificial viscosity terms
Original language description
This paper is devoted to the numerical computation of the 3D stationary inviscid transonic flow through the test channel with an oblique bump on the lower wall. The mathematical model of 3D compressible inviscid flow is described by the conservative system of the Euler equations. For the numerical solution of this system the cell-centred finite volume formulation of the explicit two-step MacCormack scheme with Jameson's artificial dissipation, the Causon's simplified TVD MacCormack scheme and the modified Causon's simplified TVD MacCormack scheme are used. The obtained results are compared.
