Original language description
The modal synthesis method with DOF number reduction is used for the dynamic analysis of the gearbox as a part of the car drive. The gearbox vibrations are excited by gear kinematic transmission errors and by periodical motion of the flywheel. The mathematical model of the car gear drive is assembled by means of the lower mode shapes and natural frequencies of the mutually uncoupled undamped subsystems - the drive shaft with gears and multiple disk clutch, the driven shaft with gears, the total differential with axle and wheels and the gear housing. The method is applied to the vibration analysis and parametric optimization of the concrete gearbox of the car drive.
