Original language description
The paper describes an algorithm for the segmentation of voiced parts of speech waveforms into such segments that the length of each segment corresponds to one pitch period. The algorithm is based on the similarity of adjacent pitch period segments, andthe dynamic time warping procedure is used for the similarity evaluation. Attention is also paid to the proper starting point selection, which ensures that the segmentation is synchronized across all segmented waveforms.
