This paper describes the eigenvalue sensitivity method of the large conservative and nonconservative rotating systems to the change in design variables. The new presented analytical approach to the sensitivity calculation of eigenvalues is based on the modal synthesis method. The condensed model of the system in state space is used for the sensitivity.
