Modelling of the pipeline systems conveying fluid
Original language description
This paper deals with FEM modelling of the above mentioned systems including inertial effects of flowing fluid to the whole pipeline system behaviour. Especially we will pay an attention on the steam stream outlet forced vibration. Exhausting fluid resulting excitation is nonconservative generalized force acting in the pipe centre line. This excitation explicitly depends on the generalized displacements and can cause even loss of stability. We will focus to the straight pipeline finite element matrices.
