This contribution deals with problems of probability description of large data registries, in the concrete with a possibility of replacing (approximating) an nth-order probability destribution by a product of several lower-order probabilities in terms of the so called dependence (approximate )tree. The method is applied to data from a registry of bone marrow donors.
