Mathematical model of the male urinary tract
Original language description
The paper presents a somplified mathematical model of the interaction between the urine flow and male urethra and bladder. Urine is assumed to be a Newtonian fluid. The flow is considered as non-stationary, isothermal and turbulent. The urethra wall, featuring elastic properties, experiences large displacements and strains. The dynamic forces are included in the urethra wall motion. When fully extended the urethra attains the shape of an axisymetric tube. An iterative method based on the uncoupled B.V.
