Original language description
The paper presents an investigation of usability of the modal synthesis method with condensation. This method allows reduction of DOF (Degree of Freedom) number with only minor to negligible effect to accuracy. After the condensation, a new mathematicalmodel is created with DOF lower in order of several magnitudes comparing to the original model. This investigation is subjected to tests with a FEM model of the Stellarator Wendelstein 7-X.
