The biomechanical investigation of the knee joint is essential in understanding the joint function and interaction between various components in both intact and perturbed condition. The model of the knee joint with total knee replacement is based on thefinite element method. The attention of present study was focused on the patellofemoral joint and the patella tracking with different Q-angle and condylar twist angle.

Biomechanická studie kolenního kloubu je nezbytná pro porozumnění funkce kloubu a vzájemného působení jednotlivých struktur kolena. Model kolena je založen na metodě konečných prvků. Pozornost této práce je zaměřena na patelofemorální kloub a pohyb čéškyv závislosti na Q-úhlu a kondylar twist úhlu.
