    Solving undercut problem using offset theory and diffrential geometry

    In last two decades, undercut, one of the crucial problem in mechanical engineering, is solved. In this paper two approaches will be mentioned, which give us a tool for finding critical domains where this problem could arise. The first one is the theoryof offsets and the second one is differential geometry. In this paper an algorithm will be briefly shown which was extended for hyperbolic points of surface. This algorithm solves the undercut problem by the discussion of curvatures.
