Tribological properties of thermally sprayed coatings
Original language description
Technology of thermally sprayed coatings by HVOF process is a promising technology for creating coatings with the thickness of more than 50um. Using this flexible, versatile and economical technology enables manufacturers to tailor surface properties ofcomponents to their service conditions. it leads to extension of lifetime and an increase in reliability and safety of cated parts. The paper is focused on tribological properties of selected thermally sprayed coatings and the appearance of wear tracks examined by electron microscopy and EDS analysis.
