Original language description
The software is designed for numerical simulations of laminar compressible fluid flow in very narrow gaps and microchannels of general geometry modelled in 2D. The flow through the 2D computational domain is described by the system of the Navier-Stokes (NS) equations formulated for a compressible Newtonian fluid and completed by the equation of state of an ideal gas. The space discretization of the system of the NS equations is based on the cell-centered finite volume method formulated for structured quadrilateral meshes. In the developed software, the approximation of inviscid numerical fluxes is implemented using an upwind AUSM (Advection Upstream Splitting Method) scheme with modified minmod limiter. The limiter modification was specially designed for the flow field stabilization in regions with flow separation.
