Original language description
This paper deals with experimental determination of fundamental natural frequencies and damping ratios of hybrid composite specimens consisting of unidirectional carbon fibre reinforced epoxy composite and rubber. A laser device for measuring displacement was used during the experiments. Records were processed in Matlab. Furthermore, the elastic parameters were verified by comparison of natural frequencies obtained from experiments and numerical simulations.
