Scenario-based approach to agent's evaluation
Original language description
System of control of the traffic light signalization in the city is in many publications based on using of software agents. However, it is difficult to Compaq proposed solutions and determine which agent provides best results. We have developed system, that allows such comparison. We are using traffic microsimulation and scenarios describing traffic situation. It allows us to compare different agents in the same environment. Scenarios allows us to model non-linear character of traffic flow and embrace different situations that may occur in real traffic - such as accidents or sudden changes of weather conditions.
