Effect of the long-wavelength topographical correction on the low-degree Earth's gravity field
Original language description
In the context of the regional gravity field modelling, the smoothing effect of the topographical correction on the high-frequency part of the gravity signal is well documented. In this study, the effect of the long-wavelength topographic correction on the low-degree Earth?s gravity potential and attraction is investigated. For this purpose, the Earth?s gravity field and the topography-corrected gravity field are compared for various spectral resolutions.
