Original language description
The aim of this research was to choose an appropriate viscoelastic material model and identify its parameters for the purpouse of computations of rubber parts used in tram wheels. In addition to that, other kinds of inelastic behavior (time independent,i.e. damage) were considered. The material model chosen was the five- parameter Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic model with an extension for large-strain viscoelasticity and discontinuous damage (Mullins effect) model. Tests in uniaxial tension and compressionat different temperatures were performed and finite elements method was used to model the experiments for the definition of an objective function. The process of identification was performed by using the gradient algorithm with the starting point determined by genetic algorithm.
