The influence of damping effect acting on disk on modal characteristics
Original language description
This paper if focused on mathematical modelling of damping effects acting on the rigid disk and influence evaluation on modal characteristics of rotating system. The rigid disk is considered therefore only the external damping effect is included into mathematical model. External damping is defined by external damping coefficient derived from proportional damping ratio for rotating speeds n = 0rpm. The influence is verified on two simple rotating machines supported on two hydrodynamic bearings.
