Numerical simulations of multiphase flow in oil separator
Original language description
This article is devoted to numerical simulations of multiphase flow through oil separator pressure vessel with the help of the finite volume computational software Ansys-Fluent. It describes functions of the oil separator in general and it explains utility of numerical studies of the multiphase flow in the pressure vessel. It introduces a part of separator as a computational domain, which is followed by presentation of used numerical model. Conclusions show results of the simulations (velocity vectors and field of volume fraction of phases) and it evaluates used methodology of solutions.
