SimCo - Hybrid Simulator for Testing of Component Based Applications
Original language description
We are presenting a tool designed to allow a simulation testing of components, component sets, or the whole component-based application. Our tool is designed to allow execution of a mixture of real, implemented components and simulated mock-ups of the parts of application, which allows faster testing than when the whole application is used. Simulation core of the tool allows us to generate a wide scale of different inputs for tested components. In the same time, tested parts of the applications are really used, without necessity to create their models. We are focusing on testing of extra-functional properties of application, such us performance or amount of generated network communication, but our approach can be used also for the purposes of comparingapplication with its original specification.
