Person Identification and Authentication Techniques
Original language description
Modern person identification and authentication techniques are based on several pattern analysis and recognition methods today. Many different techniques, e.g. biometric recognition of fingerprints, iris patterns, facial features, hand silhouettes etc. are used for a common and reliable way to authenticate the identity of a living person based on physiological or behavioral characteristics. This paper brings an overview of modern biometric analysis and recognition methods and some remarks to their implementation. All below described innovative techniques are computationally effective as well as reliable in terms of recognition rates.
