A note on geometric modelling of water turbine parts
Original language description
In this paper, we study dynamic geometric models of selected parts of water turbines based on given shape parameters. Especially, we focus on a draft tube, for which we propose also two possibilities for finding its volumetric representation, and on a blade canal of a Kaplan turbine. Such models and their volumetric parameterizations will be consequently used for fluid flow simulation based on isogeometric analysis as a discretization of a computational domain.
