Application of the lattice Boltzman method for the modelling of pulsatile flow in idealised bypass geometries
Original language description
This paper is focused on numerical simulation of pulsatile laminar fluid flow using the lattice Boltzmann method. This relatively new approach is simpler, faster and less memory-intensive than the traditional method, like finite volume of finite elementsmethod. The lattice Boltzmann method was tested on several geometries and obtained numerical results were compared with a numerical results obtained using the finite volume method.
