Two Approaches to the Dynamics of Bladed Disks
Original language description
This paper deals with two approaches to the modelling and dynamical analysis of bladed disks in turbines. The basics of modelling methods are explained. The first approach is based on the cyclic symmetry consideration and the second one is characterizedby representing the whole system using chosen mode shapes of particular blades or blade bundles. Both approaches have some advantages on the one side and drawbacks on the other side, which are also commented. The approaches are applied to the dynamic analysis of a real bladed disk composed of blades. Specifically, the methods are applied to the calculation of the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the steam turbine bladed disk with blades of length 1060 mm. Part of the shroud is the integral part ofthe blade. Blades are free at non-rotating bladed disk. Blades of the advanced design are continuously coupled in the zone of the shroud by the blades untwist due to the centrifugal forces acting at turbine rotation.
