Computational modeling of liver perfusion - towards a patient specific model

Result description

We deal with the problem of a patient specific numerical simulation of liver perfusion. The complex problem involves reconstruction of vascular trees, automatic generation of FE meshes, computation of blood flow in larger vessels and blood perfusion in aliver parenchyma. The important task of the simulation process is identification of perfusion parameters of our models.
