Simple parallel implementation of an implicit CFD solver using the Schwarz domain decomposition method
Original language description
The target of this contribution is to present a simple parallel implementation of an implicit discontinuous Galerkin solver of 2D compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Using an overlapping Schwarz method the boundary value problem is spread over a heterogeneous network of computers. The synchronization and data transfer is implemented in the Java programming language, which has plenty of simple networking tools available. Efficiency and speedup is analysed on a set of designed representative test problems.
