Possibility of application of the simulation based assessment method in modelling of structures
Original language description
The goal of the article is to present result in the field of possibility to judge probability of failure of real component on its model. The simply supported beam loaded by concentrated force was used. Electrical resistance strain gauge method was used to determine acting strains and corresponding stresses in the model. Modeling rules were used for model and corresponding real beam. Stresses in real beam and its model were determined by SBRA method too and results were compared. Good results were achieved.
