Original language description
This software automatically reconstructs fibres in the whole volume of a muscle from those selectively sampled on the superficial layer providing that a 3D surface model of the muscle is available. Muscles having multiple heads or large attachment areas with an extremely acute pennation angle are supported. The reconstruction is done using the algorithm developed under the project PUNTIS (LO1506) funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic on the basis of the results achieved in the EU funded project VPHOP (FP7-ICT-223865).
