Design of PI Controllers: H∞ Region Approach
Original language description
This paper introduces a new algorithm, based on some extension of the Neimark D-partition method, to directly determine the regions in the parameter plane ki − kp of PI controllers for all commonly used H∞ criteria. A resulting region which meets all the individual design constraints can be constructed from the intersection of individual regions. There are no important limitations on the process, finite dimensional systems with time delay and infinite dimensional systems described by linear partial differential equations are permissible. The provided results are demonstrated on examples.
