    The research presents a modelling method of the forced vibrations of the WWER-type nuclear reactor excited by pressure pulsations ´generated by main circulation pumps. The excitation is described by the pressure pulsations measured on the coolant input into a space between the pressure vessel and the core barrel walls in the form of time series. The reactor mathematical model respects the assembly clearances in the tongue and grove couplings between the lower part of core barrel and the reactor pressure vessel including friction in contact surfaces. The accelerations meassured by the accelerometers fastened on the top head of the pressure vessel are compared with calculated values in the form of statistical data and acceleration frequency spectrum.
